Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty is typically (and hilariously) pretty predictable – as far as the characters go, anyways. It’s fairly common to see naive and easily distressed Morty break down after an action packed adventure to another multiverse with his uncle, Rick Sanchez. But to see Rick lose it? That something else.
In this hilarious new clip from an upcoming season 3 episode, Rick scoops Morty from school for a ‘quick, 20 minute adventure’, and six days later we see them fighting for their lives before being awarded with a trophy and ceremony from some alien civilization. What follows is a break down so ridiculous, you gotta see it for yourself.
Damn, Sam got skills. Last night, Samuel L. Jackson joined James Corden for the latest edition of ‘Drop the Mic’, a pseudo rap battle segment on The Late Late Show.
Shade was thrown from both sides, with Corden calling out Jackson’s sporting of Kangol hats, to his Tarantino movie roles and Jackson making it rain on Corden, who is ‘only known for his carpool karaoke segment with Adele’.
Watch the battle below and see Jackson make it rain.
Last night, Canadian duo dvsn took to Instagram to announce their upcoming sophomore album, Morning After. The announcement comes after the release of two new tracks and will be their first official release since their debut, Sept.5th, last year.
There’s no official release date on the image, but it reads ‘coming soon’. We can’t wait.
The duo, composed of vocalist Daniel Daley and producer Nineteen85 were in Toronto this week to perform at Drake’s 8th annual OVO Fest.
You can catch photos and highlights from that performance here.
The next pop-up restaurant to take NYC by storm is…wait for it…all Cheetos, all the time. Because why the hell not?
The Spotted Cheetah will pop up at 211 West Broadway in Tribeca from August 15-17 and features a menu specially curated by TV chef Anne Burrell. The menu itself is broken down into three sections and includes starters, main, and desserts. The elevated dishes include ‘Cheetos Crusted Fried Pickles’, ‘Cheetos Meatballs’, ‘Flamin’ Hot Limón Chicken Tacos’, ‘Cheetos Sweetos Crusted Cheesecake’, and much, much more.
You’ve gotta reserve a spot and they’re selling out fast so take a look at their website if the thought of an all-Cheetos based diet sounds appealing to you. (I mean, why wouldn’t it?)
Arriving September 1, the brand new season of Narcos is shifting it’s focus a bit. Switching story lines to focus on the Cali Cartel, season 3 of the hit Netflix series will follow the DEA and their mission to take down not one, but four drug kingpins. We can’t wait.
It’s no secret that director Darren Aronofsky is known for his creepy, mind-bending, phychological thrillers and horror films. From Black Swan to The Fountain to Requiem for a Dream, his films have a way of pulling you in and making you question literally everything.
Enter his latest film, Mother!, starring Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem. The most recent teaser trailer is a super-cut filled with suspense, creepiness, and mystery. It definitely doesn’t give away a lot but teases us enough that we can’t wait to check it out. Besides, most trailers end up giving away everything these days, amiright?
Happy Monday! To celebrate the fifth anniversary of their debut album, Canadian electronic duo Purity Ring have just released their first new track – an ethereal single titled ‘Asido’ – since 2015’s Another Eternity.
And obviously it’s perfect. ‘Asido’ is supposedly a standalone single, but our fingers are crossed that there’s more in that. I mean, come on, don’t leave us hanging here.
As if there weren’t enough amazing movies dropping this summer, now we’ve got the chilling first trailer for The Snowman, a thriller starring Michael Fassbender, set to hit theatres this fall.
Based on the book of the same name, The Snowman follows a detective (Fassbender) as he investigates the strange disappearances of several victims right after the first snowfall. Suspecting a serial killer, he and another detective must move fast to crack the case before the next snowfall hits.
Sooo, if you were thinking this was a Frozen-esque movie about Olaf running around doing cute things, think again. Snowmen are now scary, okay?
Directed by Tomas Alfredson and executive-produced by Martin Scorcese, you will not want to miss this – check it out when it premieres on October 20.
Have you been suffering from sleepless nights, desperately dying to know what teenagers these days are actually up to? I mean, besides Snapchat and selfies and Chipotle and Kylie Jenner lip kits? Well, you’re in luck. A photo that’s been posted to Twitter has gone viral, after a shopper at Urban Outfitters found this handwritten, ‘Summer Bucket List 2017’ in her changing room.
The list itself is all over the place, ranging from ‘give two blowjobs’ and ‘decorate room’ to ‘pet a giraffe’ and ‘get a boob hickey’, ending off with ‘go ape’ – sounds like this girl is in for a wild fucking summer. And with getting drunk all the time already checked off, it seems like it’s off to a good start.
And hey, if going to a drive in movie, doing summer reading, and let’s face it, going ape, doesn’t give you serious nostalgia vibes for your high school years, we don’t what will.
