“This song is me asking my bandmates to let go of what’s been weighing us down. We’re not going to let the past hold us back from our dreams. Let’s do this thing.”
Toronto DIY darlings Dilly Dally have dropped the first new song off their upcoming sophomore album Heaven, (the follow up to their critically acclaimed debut Sore). Titled “I Feel Free,” the track is a sweeping celebration of revival with an apt video to match. Written and directed by the band’s own Katie Monks, the video features Monks digging up her buried bandmates, trying to bring them back from the dead. As Monks explains, “this song is me asking my bandmates to let go of what’s been weighing us down. We’re not going to let the past hold us back from our dreams. Let’s do this thing.”

Dilly Dally’s new album Heaven comes out September 14th, 2018 via Dine Alone & Partisan Records . Pre-order it here. You can also catch Dilly Dally live at the dates below.
