Listen to a collection of great tracks from the last few months, including Beach House, Wye Oak, Janelle Monae, and Drake.

Spring was on hold this year, but it certainly gave us time to build up an arsenal of [palm tree emoji] [sunshine emoji] music for the warmer days.

So far in 2018, we’ve had new music from big artists all over the place — with the ultimate mood-setter Drake dropping in a song of summer candidate in “Nice for What”. The best catharsis in spring is songs like this: big, joyous, emotional tracks to help shake off the long, stupid winter.

This spring has set us up for a big summer. Janelle Monáe, Beach House, and Anderson .Paak have teased incredible singles in anticipation of May and June album releases. Even Kanye, returning to Twitter to write his book on plastic shoes, 280 characters at a time, has lined up a G.O.O.D. Music release schedule to make anyone drool. It’s made collecting music easy, and building spring playlists a breeze (bad pun intended).

I’ve done my best to do that here, with some instant classics and undiscovered mood music mixed together. Shed the top layer, get outside, and enjoy.

If you prefer an unmixed playlist, check this out on Spotify.
