Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty is typically (and hilariously) pretty predictable – as far as the characters go, anyways. It’s fairly common to see naive and easily distressed Morty break down after an action packed adventure to another multiverse with his uncle, Rick Sanchez. But to see Rick lose it? That something else.

In this hilarious new clip from an upcoming season 3 episode, Rick scoops Morty from school for a ‘quick, 20 minute adventure’, and six days later we see them fighting for their lives before being awarded with a trophy and ceremony from some alien civilization.
