The electronic duo are back with a stunning sophomore album.

To be honest, in the months leading up to Odesza’s album release, I was excited, but also wary. Their first effort was so flawless, so perfect, and so on repeat, that I wondered if they could deliver something new, but just as addictive for their sophomore effort. A Moment Apart was released on September 8, and guess what? It’s fucking fantastic.

The electronic duo from Seattle seemed to have found their niche – somewhere between indie pop dance and progressive house music – and while this album is a departure from their first record, it captures the original sound without copying it too much and stands on its own.

With features from WYNNE, Naomi Wild, Leon Bridges, and Regina Spektor, this album is stacked and has been on repeat since its release last week.
