Those feels when you’re stuck in bed…

The Philly by way of Vegas bb simply known as Shamir recently released a new track off an upcoming 7″ with a video to match. The song in question is titled “Room” and it’s an ode to that depression daze with a honky-tonk meets The Shangri-Las vibe. Directed by Richard Smith, the clip features Shamir at home in bed phone scrolling. As Shamir told The Fader, the track is about…

feeling trapped even when there’s an opening presented to you, those times you feel stuck and depressed to the point that making it out of bed feels like an impossible feat. “Room” is a song for those that need that extra push to keep going and take advantage of all the open doors put in your path.
