Ahead of its April 7 release, Netflix has just dropped a brand new teaser for ‘The Get Down’ Part II from creator Baz Luhrmann.

The second half of the 70’s inspired hip-hop drama pick up a year after where the events in Part I ended, and continues to follow the rising careers of Bronx residents Mylene and Books, as they experience the changing musical landscape in the early 1970’s – when disco was on  its way out, and hip-hop was on the rise.

If you haven’t already gotten into this show, catch up immediately. Part I is dope AF, already on Netflix, and ready for you to binge watch this weekend.
