So many flavours, so little time. There is no room for error. We’ve rounded up the top 10 Oreo flavours out there for your most enjoyable munchies.

Everyone loves Oreos, and over at Nabisco, they know it. They have discovered an incredibly marketable (not-so) secret – keep making new and interesting Oreo flavours, and we’ll keep eating them. No matter how weird the flavour combo, they will sell. Why? Because we just HAVE to try them. Due to this fact, there is a long list of mediocre Oreo flavours among the winners, so to spare you from munching down on sub-par cookies after a bowl of Afghan Kush, we’ve rounded up the top 10 flavours to snatch off the shelf.

Note: There is more variety in the states (shocker), but don’t be bitter (because, Trump).

10. Red Velvet

Red Velvet Oreos are at the bottom of the list because yes, they’re good, and they satiate our red velvet craving, but they do not taste enough like red velvet to really earn the title. Red velvet is essentially a rich chocolate flavour with red food colouring, so the chocolate Oreo cookie mimics this well, but the cookie frosting tastes nothing like cream cheese. Red velvet cake just is not red velvet cake without that perfect cream cheese frosting, but we’ll let it slide because it tastes good when you’re baked anyways.

9. Gingerbread

Seasonal, but delicious nonetheless. A mild ginger cream sandwiched between a golden vanilla/ginger wafer. Oreo really went all out this time, altering both the cookie and the crème recipe, creating a legitimate new flavour that tastes like Christmas morning. And if you don’t like Christmas morning…(weird).

8. Oreo Thins

Newer to the Oreo cookie family, Oreo Thins are light, thin and surprisingly delicious – but do not fret – not so thin that you can’t still dismember its parts in order to lick the frosting and dip the  cookie sides in milk if you should feel so inclined. It’s like 2 Thins equals 1 regular Oreo. In other words, the perfect go-to when you have the mad munchies and know you’ll be wanting at least 18 cookies. Also currently available in Golden Vanilla, Salted Caramel, and Mint.

7. S’mores

Warning. These are pretty addictive and are a pretty good substitute for the hot and gooey campfire alternative. There was already something “marshmallow” about the inside of an Oreo (likely the fact they they are just 150% sugar) and the fact that they went all out and created a whole new graham flavoured cookie for this was simply genius. #BLESSED

6. Cookie Dough

Let’s be serious. Anything cookie dough always seems to rule. This certainly applies to the Cookie Dough Oreo. Those little crunchy chocolate chips in the filling go A LONG WAY. It does taste a bit like caramel and I always wish they were double stuffed but, hey, you can’t have everything!

5. Pumpkin Spice

Admit it. You’re basic AF and love the trendy seasonal flavour that has become a holiday all its own – #pumpkinspice has over a million tags on Instagram. With a pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg flavoured centre and vanilla wafers to finish it off, how “can you not”.

4. Mint

Mint lands near the top of our list because this brings unbeatable flavour combo. The crème is perfectly minty and cool against that dry chocolate wafer. Mint isn’t always in stores, but at Christmas this flavour is fondly referred to as Candy Cane – don’t be fooled – both taste exactly the same.

3. Birthday cake

CAKE CAKE CAKE. But, wait. First things first – shout out to the OG Golden Oreo because this cookie essentially is just that, with some confetti sprinkles thrown in. When there isn’t birthday cake available, but there are Golden Oreos, it’s nothing to cry about. There is just something so nostalgic about birthday cake flavour that brings out the 6 year old in all of us, and we’re into it.

2. Peanut butter

Peanut butter plus chocolate always equals a mouth fiesta. The peanut butter-y frosting between two chocolate cookies is something to text your friends about. If you haven’t had an Oreo cookie buffet at a party yet: 1. You are not living your best life. 2. Peanut butter always goes the quickest!

1. The Original Oreo

The OG Oreo is here to take our top spot. Why, you ask? There’s nothing like the real thing, baby. Twist it, lick it, dunk it, bite it, or go Lindsay Lohan straight out of The Parent Trap and dip it all in peanut butter – you do you boo. There is something about that OG flavour that keeps us coming back for more, and keeps it at the top of our list. Double Stuf, you say? Even fucking better.
